1.Overview

The spring testing machine is a special instrument for testing the deformation and load relationship characteristics of tension and compression springs, and is suitable for working load testing of tension and compression springs under a certain working length. This testing machine adopts advanced and highly integrated integrated single-chip microcomputer, and Chinese lottery display. The appearance adopts a metal shell, which greatly improves the anti-interference ability of the system.


2.Product Features

● Chinese color screen display, better human-organization interface.

● Three measurement units have their own switching: N (Newton), kg (Kilogram), Lb (British pound).

● Gravity acceleration setting, higher measurement and conversion accuracy.

● Print the stored measurement data and maximum, minimum and average values.

● Communication function: It uses USB interface to communicate with PC. The synchronous test function can be connected to a computer for testing. The computer displays the test force curve and the detailed test force records during the test.

① Chinese color display.

② Save key: In the measurement interface, press this key to save the measured value; in the auto peak mode, press this key to display the word "auto save" on the screen to automatically save the peak data; in the setting menu interface When the setting is completed, press this key to save the set data parameters.

③ View key: In the measurement interface, you can view the stored measurement data through this key.

④ Peak key: press this key, you can freely switch between "real-time", "peak", "auto-peak" three measurement modes.

⑤ Setting key: In the measurement interface, press this key to enter the setting menu interface.

⑥ Print key: In the measurement interface, press this key to print the stored numerical data.

⑦ Zero setting key: during real-time measurement, press this key to correct the zero point; during peak and auto peak, press this key to clear the peak and return to zero; when viewing the interface, long press this key to clear all Stored measured value; press this key during user setting interface to return to the previous level without saving the setting data and return to the measurement interface.

⑧ Up key: When viewing the stored data, press this key to scroll up the data; when setting the menu interface, press this key to scroll up to select the parameter item to be modified; in the parameter modification interface, press this key to Modify the parameter value at the current digit.

5. Interface operation instructions

● Boot display

The name of the manufacturer, product model, and specifications are displayed at boot.

As shown:


● Measurement interface

After the boot display, enter the main measurement interface. As shown:

① The first line: display the test mode set by the user: three modes: real-time, peak and automatic peak.

② The second line: display the number of test data stored by the user (maximum 99 sets of data can be stored).

③ The third line:press the "unit" key to freely switch between N (Newton) and kg (kg) , Lb (British pound).


● Setting interface

Press the "Set" button to enter the parameter setting interface, and press the "Zero" button to return to the main test interface. As shown:


① Upper limit value: The user sets the upper limit value, and freely sets the upper limit value of the tension and compression according to the needs, that is, the buzzer alarm is longer than the upper limit value during the test, and the upper limit value is set not higher than the full range. Press the "Up" or "Down" key to select the upper limit option, press the "Set" key to enter the parameter setting; press the "Up" key to set the value, and press the "Down" key to select the number of digits. After setting, press "Save" to return to the setting interface or press "Zero" to cancel the setting and return to the setting interface.


② Lower limit value: The user sets the lower limit value, and freely sets the lower limit value of tension and compression according to the needs, that is, the buzzer alarm below the lower limit value during the test, and the buzzer sounds long. The parameter setting steps are the same as above.


③ Minimum storage value: The user sets the minimum storage value according to storage needs. In real-time mode and peak mode, data smaller than this value will not be saved. The parameter setting steps are the same as above.


④ Minimum peak value: The user sets the minimum storage value according to storage needs. In peak mode and automatic peak mode, data smaller than this value will not be displayed on the screen. The parameter setting steps are the same as above.


⑤ Automatic peak time: The user can freely set the peak automatic saving time from 1 second to 99 seconds according to the automatic peak test state. The parameter setting steps are the same as above.


⑥ Auto power-off time: It is used to freely set the auto power-off time under no-operation state of the instrument from 1 minute to 99 minutes. The parameter setting steps are the same as above.


⑦ Gravity acceleration: The user can set the gravity acceleration value according to the location where the instrument is used. The machine defaults to 9.794. The parameter setting steps are the same as above.


⑧ Initial setting: Improper user operation or confusion when changing parameters multiple times, you can use this setting to restore the data of various parameters to the factory state. Press the "Up" or "Down" key to select this option, and then press the "Setting" key, the instrument screen displays "Initialized successfully" and automatically returns to the main test interface.


⑨ Network: Parameter setting for users to connect to the network.


⑩ Calibration: Enter the setting interface, select the calibration option, tap the "Settings" button to start entering the password (up-down-peak-save-up-down-peak-save) 8 digits, then tap the "Settings" button Enter the user calibration interface. (As shown below)



● Digital display scale


① ON/OFF: This button is the key to switch on and off the power.


② ZERO: This key is a zero-setting key, which clears the displayed value.


③ HOLD: This key is a lock memory key. There will be an "H" character on the value, the value will be locked, and there will be no change. Press the lock function again to clear it.


④ ABS: This key is an absolute key;

a. The display window displays a certain value, and there is no "ABS" character on the value, which means the normal measurement mode;

b. When this key is pressed, the display window will show zero, and the screen displays "ABS", which means the ABS measurement mode, which means that the distance is measured from this starting point, and the displayed value is the value in the ABS measurement mode ;

c. Until the key is pressed again, there is no "ABS" on the screen, indicating that it returns to the normal measurement mode, and the displayed value is the value in the normal measurement mode.


⑤ mm/in: This key is the unit conversion key, which is to switch between inches and millimeters.


6. test operation instructions

● Deformation and working load test of tensile spring:

① Connect the power supply, press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on;

② Press the "Zero" button and hear a beep to confirm;

③ Drive the handle upward, connect the up and down spring hook head, drive (adjust) the handle, and when the load display is close to the measured spring test load value, press the deformation amount display to set to zero;

④ Attach the tested tension spring, drive the handle to the required deformation, and read the load display value, which is the working load value under the deformation of the spring.


● Deformation of compression spring and working load test:

① Press the "zero" button, hear a buzzer and confirm;

② Drive the handle downward to make the upper and lower pressure plates (measurement contacts) contact, drive (adjust) the handle until the load display is close to the test load of the spring under test, and press the deformation to display zero;

③ Place the compression spring under test, turn the handle to press the required deformation, and read the load display value, which is the working load value under the deformation of the spring.


● Print function:

If you need to save the test data, press the print key to print out the data.


● Note: Because the load measuring sensor of this machine adopts resistance strain type, it will also produce certain deformation when under load. In order to reduce the measurement error, the load of the load sensor when the deformation amount is set to zero should be as close as possible to the measured working load value of the measured spring to eliminate the deformation error of the working load sensor. When measuring with general accuracy, the load value when the deformation amount is set to zero can be taken as 10N~15N.


● Note: When the amount of deformation is displayed as zero, the handle will be set to zero. Contrary to the measurement of tension springs, the displayed deformation is a negative value, and the actual reading takes its absolute value, which is a positive value.


● Use of fine adjustment knob:

① First, connect the fine adjustment knob device to the column firmly, keeping the center between the two on the same line;

② After confirming that the connection is firm and the center is on the same line, first loosen the knob on the side to allow the upper knob to move freely, adjust the knob to the appropriate position, and then tighten the knob on the side;

③ Turn on the digital display scale, after setting zero, adjust the upper knob according to the needs of the test, you can get a small displacement variable, to meet the requirements of precision measurement.


● Note: The ATH series spring testing machine provided by our company can be roughly divided into small, medium and large ranges, of which there is no fine adjustment knob device for a large range.


7. matters needing attention

Incorrect operation may damage the instrument or cause serious accidents. This manual points out important matters for preventing accidents and how to use the instrument. Please read this manual carefully before use, and keep it properly after reading for future reading.


● Precautions for use

① The environment should be kept clean to prevent liquids, iron filings, etc. from intruding into the amount of deformation, working load sensor components, and damaging electronic components.

② Please clean the instrument with a soft cloth, immerse the cloth in the water soaked with detergent, wring it out and remove the dust and dirt.

Note: Do not use volatile chemicals to clean the instrument (such as volatile agent, thinner, alcohol, etc.)

③ Do not operate the machine in the following environment

a. Humid environment

b. Dusty environment

c. Places where oil or chemicals are used

d. Places with earthquake sources around

④ The surface of the deformation sensor caliper and sliding rack can be cleaned with clean gasoline, and can be lubricated with a small amount of watch oil. Acetone and alcohol are not allowed.

⑤ If you don't use it for a long time, you should unplug the power plug, and do the dustproof and moistureproof treatment.
